Old Cromwell Town

Before the Dam was built & the river flooded into the stunning lake you see today. There was a town. What's left of that town you will find in Old Cromwell. Cute & quaint yet full of life.

Central Fitness Gym

A local 24/7 gym with affordable day & week passes that are easy to purchase online

A good quality, classic kiwi cafe. With great giant cheese rolls.

Walking & Cycling

Dunstan Cycle Trail

You can walk and cycle this trail. Starts at Pisa Moorings and follows the lake all the way to Clyde.

45th parallel walk

You can do the stairs only, up and back or you can complete the full loop which takes about 45 minutes.

Sluicing's Bannockburn

We think this is a must. 1-1.5 hour walk around the gold mining sluicing's. Lots of caves to explore.

Bendigo

This is a bit of a drive however, you can explore the old ruins. For an extra long adventure you can do the kanuka loop which is about 3 hours.

Carrick Walk

Located past Bannockburn. Its a 4WD track going straight up. Great views. 1.5 hours return
